Science and Technology of Cereals, Oils and Foods, China
The original Journal of Scientific Research and Design commenced in 1991 as an internal journal of the Academy of the Ministry of Commerce. In September 1993 it developed into the Journal of Commercial Science and Technology Development with the joint approval of the National Ministry of Science and Technology, the General Administration of Press and Publication, the Ministry of Domestic Trade, and affiliated with the Academy of the Ministry of Domestic Trade.
A further change of name occurred in August 1997 to Science and Technology of Cereals, Oils and Foods, China with the joint approval of related administrations.
The formats used were enlarged in accordance to international standards and issued bimonthly. The Journal, with the concept of publication “Disseminate the Essence of Science Technology, Shoulder the Responsibility of National Foods”, is currently supervised by the National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration, and sponsored by the Academy of National Food and Strategic Reserves Administration.
Since 30 years of founding, the journal had been gained excellent achievements, such as collected into the lists of EBSCO research database(2021-2025), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Chemical Abstracts (CA) (2021-), Food Science and Technology Abstract (FSTA) (2022-), Japan Science and Technology Agency (Chinese Bibliographic Database) (JSTChina) (2018-2022), Ulrich's Periodicals Directory (UPD), the Key Magazine of China Technology (of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 editions), "2022 Bilingual Communication Project for Chinese STM Journals", "2022 China Fine Periodical Exhibition", China Agricultural Core Periodicals (5th Ed. 2006) and Core Chinese Periodicals of Peking University (6th Ed. 2011).

Our authors and readers are predominantly from government, libraries, academies (academies, institutes and universities) and industries (processing plants, testing centers and depots) of grain, oil and foods fields in China. Part of them are international experts.
