Abstract:A PCR method to identify transgenic potato was established by designing specific primers of regulatory elements in genetically modified organism (GMO) potato, then four kinds of transgenic potato standard lines EH92-527-1, AV43-6-G7, AM04-1020 and PH05-026-0048 were used as templates for single gene PCR and multiplex PCR amplification. After analysis by agarose gel electrophoresis, the primer combinations with strong primer specificity and no cross-contamination or non-specific amplification were screened out. And nine kinds of known transgenic potato samples were verified by multiplex PCR, and the bands were clear and distinct. The detection method of combining multiplex PCR with single PCR that can rapidly and accurately identify a variety of regulatory elements of transgenic potatoes has been established.
